When is the information imported to PinnacleApp?

The ADT file is imported into PinnacleApp at around 02:00 - 04:00 each night. PinnacleApp looks at the file and compares it to the previous nights file and updates any changes.
  • If a product has been added to the ADT via Ascend then it will be created within PinnacleApp.
  • If a product has been updated then it will be updated within PinnacleApp.
  • If a product has been removed from the ADT then it will be removed from PinnacleApp.
Although the ADT contains lots of information against each SKU the main areas we are interested in updating from an eCommerce perspective are;
  • Stock
  • Price
  • Sale price (if applicable)

Note
  • All products are imported as Single Products, no grouping information is held within the ADT, see Product Grouping.
  • No categorisation information is held within the ADT, see Product Categorisation.
